Yes! Unless otherwise noted, all the pottery I sell is food safe. I will make a very clear note in the description of items that are NOT food safe. If you ever have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Yes! It is completely safe to put my food-safe pottery through the dishwasher. I will clearly mark if an item is not food safe.

Yes! It is completely safe to use my food-safe pottery in the microwave. I will clearly mark if an item is not food safe.

Yes-ish. Although all pieces have withstood temperatures well above 2000 degrees F, I still recommend looking for pieces that I specifically mark as oven safe. I have made these particular pieces a bit thicker than my other food-safe pieces and have used clay body that has a coarser “grog” - a “gritty” element in clay that gives it more structural strength.

Yes and no.

I can’t make an exact copy of a sold piece. Every item I create is one-of-a-kind, and even when using the same forms, glazes, or design ideas, each piece will naturally turn out with its own unique variations. That’s part of what makes handmade work special.

However, I’m absolutely happy to create something in a similar style or using a similar glaze combination if it’s a direction you love. As long as you’re open to the natural differences that come with handmade work, I can certainly make something inspired by the original piece just for you.

Turnaround time can vary depending on what I’m making and how many pieces are in the order. I also work in creative cycles, which means I balance custom orders with my own production schedule and time spent developing new glaze combinations or revisiting popular designs.

Because of this, I prefer to give a realistic completion window rather than overpromising on timing. I would rather under-promise and deliver early than set expectations that I can’t reliably meet.

For most custom orders, my typical turnaround time is 4–8 weeks. Larger or more complex orders may take longer, and I will always take that into account when providing your estimated completion date.

Pricing is always clearly quoted upfront and will not change once confirmed. The only variable that may fluctuate slightly is shipping, but I do my best to provide accurate USPS estimates so there are no surprises.

All sales are final. As a small business creating one-of-a-kind handmade pieces, I am unable to offer returns or exchanges. I truly appreciate your understanding and support of handmade work.

All sales are final. However, I carefully package every order and ship with USPS insurance covering the value of the items. In the rare event that a package is lost or damaged in transit, a USPS claim can be filed to reimburse the value of your order.

Yes, I ship within the United States. Shipping rates are based off of USPS Ground and Priority - whichever is the most reasonable price. Both shipping options offer a tracking number and include insurance equalling or exceeding the value of the items in your order. Local pickup and delivery may be coordinated on a case-by-case basis.
