Meet Hannah Listle, LMT

I believe that there is no one perfect massage technique for everyone. That is why I continuously expand my knowledge of effective massage tools and techniques - creating a holistic massage experience for my clients. By incorporating massage techniques and tools to best suit each client’s individual needs, holistic massage engages the body’s natural healing abilities to balance the entire body as a whole.
My massage career began in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I attended Everest College for Massage Therapy in 2009 and trained under a veteran LMT and acupuncturist, who encouraged me to advance my knowledge and training in cupping therapies.
For my first three years as a licensed massage therapist, I worked at wellness clinics alongside several chiropractors, a naturopath, and two acupuncturists. During this time I almost exclusively focused on rehabilitative and therapeutic massage. I also volunteered with a local semi-pro football team and at local trail running events, working with athletes before, during, and after their events.
In 2013, I opened my own clinical massage practice next to a CrossFit box (gym). I began working with with several competitive CrossFit athletes as well as professional marathoners, golfers, and equestrians. Although I had enjoyed using cupping in practice before, I really began to consistently integrate it into my deep tissue and sports massage treatments. I also volunteered at local CrossFit competitions, providing quick cupping treatments to help the competitors with their mobility.
As time went on, I became more interested in integrating styles of work from around the world that not only addressed muscle health and performance, but also mental and spiritual health and relaxation. So, in 2015, I expanded my practice and opened an upscale boutique spa. My holistic massage style blossomed in this environment as I curated my now-signature Deep Tissue, Cupping and Hot Stone styles of massage. I also began instructing Myofascial Cupping continuing education classes for other LMTs.
I have taken continuing education courses in: Chinese Cupping, Myofascial Release, Anatomy for Athletes, Sports Massage Assessment & Treatment, Warm Bamboo Fusion Massage, Hot & Cold Stone Therapies, and Therapeutic Massage courses for specific musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
Now, I bring this experience and passion to Florida with my practice at Live Oak Massage (MM37043).

Swedish massage is designed to promote deep relaxation and an overall sense of wellbeing. Using slow, flowing techniques and light pressure, this style of massage supports the parasympathetic nervous system—helping your body shift out of “fight or flight” and into a state of rest and restoration. It can ease the effects of stress, anxiety, and low mood while also encouraging healthy circulation of blood and lymph. This is an ideal choice if you’re looking to unwind, reset, and gently reconnect with your body.

Deep tissue massage is a focused, therapeutic treatment designed to reduce pain, improve mobility and function, support injury recovery, and help decrease the risk of injury during physically demanding activities. This work addresses muscular imbalances and areas of restriction using precise, intentional techniques and moderate to deep pressure. Because it is more technical and goal-oriented, it may not be the best choice if your primary objective is pure relaxation—deep tissue massage is centered on resolving pain patterns and restoring balanced movement in the body.
IASTM and Theragun PRO percussion therapy may be incorporated at no additional cost when appropriate. You may also enhance your session with deep heat therapy using hot stones for an additional $15.

Prenatal massage is a nurturing, therapeutic service designed to support your body through the many physical and emotional changes of pregnancy. Each session focuses on relieving muscle tension and easing common discomforts such as low back, hip, shoulder, and neck pain. It can also help reduce swelling and improve circulation. Most importantly, it promotes a deeper sense of calm and overall wellbeing for both mother and baby. By calming the nervous system and encouraging healthy movement patterns, prenatal massage can also help you feel more balanced and comfortable as your body adapts and grows.
Specialized supportive bolstering is used to make face-down positioning safe, comfortable, and fully accessible for both mother and baby. My goal is to ensure stability, safety, and complete comfort throughout your session. Pressure is always thoughtfully tailored to your needs—ranging from light to deeper therapeutic work as appropriate—so you feel fully supported, cared for, and at ease during every stage of pregnancy.

Hot Stone Massage is a deeply soothing, luxurious experience designed to melt tension from both body and mind. Smooth basalt stones are heated to a comfortably warm temperature and thoughtfully incorporated throughout the session, allowing gentle heat to penetrate tight muscles, increase circulation, and invite your entire nervous system into a state of profound relaxation. The warmth encourages muscles to soften more quickly and deeply, creating a sense of heaviness, calm, and ease that many clients describe as completely immersive—don’t be surprised if you drift into a restful sleep.
This service is typically performed with light to moderate pressure to maximize the calming effects of the heat, though moderate to deep pressure may be added for $15 if you prefer more focused therapeutic work.

Moderate to deep pressure is tailored to your comfort and goals, and IASTM or Theragun PRO percussion therapy can be incorporated at no additional cost to further enhance your recovery and performance. Leave feeling lighter, freer, and fully restored—ready for whatever your day or training demands.

Arrival Time
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your first appointment with me at Live Oak Massage so that you can fill out the Health Intake Form and review it with me to create a plan for your massage.
For all following appointments, please plan to arrive at least 5-10 minutes early.
I am committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in my practice and expect the same from my clients. My massage services are provided strictly for therapeutic purposes, and any inappropriate behavior or requests will not be tolerated.
With over 15 years of experience and ongoing continuing education, I take great pride in offering skilled, ethical, and knowledgeable care. If you are seeking a professional, well-trained, and client-focused massage therapist, I am here to provide safe, effective, and compassionate support for your wellness needs.
Appropriate Behavior
For the safety, comfort, and relaxation of all clients, I ask that only the client receiving massage be in the room during their session. Having additional guests or children present can be distracting and may make it difficult to fully relax. My treatment space is limited, and extra people—especially minors—create safety and liability concerns.
For minors receiving massage, a guardian should remain in the room for safety and security. Clients who may need assistance communicating their needs, such as those requiring a caregiver or interpreter, are also encouraged to have support present. For language barriers, I am happy to provide translation via phone to ensure clear communication so you can receive the massage that best meets your needs.
Coordinating childcare or support outside of the treatment room allows me to provide the highest quality, focused care during your session

Prenatal massage is safe and beneficial for most pregnant people when certain guidelines are followed. Clients must be under the regular care of a physician or qualified prenatal provider and be deemed healthy enough to receive massage. Those with high-risk pregnancies should receive clearance and may not be eligible depending on their provider’s recommendations. When performed by a knowledgeable and experienced therapist, prenatal massage can safely help reduce discomfort, swelling, and stress. I have been practicing massage therapy since 2010 and specialize in prenatal massage, with extensive training in safe positioning, pressure adjustments, and techniques specifically designed to support the changing needs of pregnancy.

The primary difference between relaxation and therapeutic massage is the intention of the work and the depth of pressure used.
Relaxation massage is designed to calm the nervous system, ease stress, improve circulation, and promote an overall sense of wellbeing. The focus is on helping you unwind and leave feeling rested and restored. Pressure is typically light to moderate, with smooth, flowing techniques.
Therapeutic massage, on the other hand, is more targeted. It focuses on addressing specific concerns such as muscle pain, limited range of motion, injury recovery, postural imbalances, or supporting athletic performance. This work often involves moderate to firm pressure and more focused techniques.
Regardless of the style of session, pressure is always tailored to your comfort level and preferences.

Not at all.
Practicing in a community where many people carry high levels of stress and physical tension, I frequently provide focused, deeper therapeutic work. However, if you are looking for the absolute deepest pressure possible, I may not be the right fit. I do not believe that pain or excessive force is necessary to create meaningful therapeutic results.
My approach is to work effectively within your body’s comfort level, using intentional, skilled techniques rather than intensity alone. The goal is for you to receive excellent therapeutic results while still feeling able to relax and breathe throughout the session — not brace against it.
-
Not at all! You are always welcome to enjoy your session in quiet relaxation. Many clients prefer to fully unwind without conversation, and I wholeheartedly support that. In fact, working in a calm, quiet space allows me to stay deeply focused on providing the highest quality care possible. Silence can also enhance the mental, emotional, and restorative benefits of your massage, giving you the opportunity to fully settle into the experience.
-
Your comfort and sense of safety are my highest priorities. I practice in a trauma-informed, compassionate, and client-centered way, which means you are always in control of your session. You are encouraged to share your needs, preferences, and boundaries at any time. I am happy to adjust pressure, techniques, positioning and bolstering, music, lighting, or any other element of the session to ensure you feel supported, respected, and completely at ease.
-
Absolutely! Regular massage is a wonderful addition to your wellness routine. The frequency of massage depends on your goals, schedule, and budget. I am happy to make recommendations on the frequency of massage that would best suit your individual needs, but it is always ultimately up to the client.
